Sharing Backyards

Thats right: We need your help.

We've leaped from 7 programs in December 2008 to 34 programs in December 2009. This project is currently run entirely by volunteers, and we are expanding every week....thus, we need help.

We need volunteers in two tiers of our operation:
1) To help with each individual local program
2) To help with the overall project

We are looking for people who can commit to 5 hrs or more per week for 3 months or longer. It would be best if all volunteers have basic knowledge and experience with computers, search engines, spreadsheets (excel) and MS word.

How to apply:

1) If you would like to volunteer for the local program directly in your community, please either enter your city into the search tool on the main page of our site, or select it from the list to right of the page (Our Programs Around the World). To the right of your city's map, there will be contact information for the Local Partner in your area. You can apply to them directly.

2) If you'd like to help with the overall project, we're seeking skilled volunteers in the following departments:
- Marketing
- Advertising (selling of Ad-space within our system)
- Web building (Drupal based)
- Fundraising (Grant writing, innovative ideas)
- Design (logos, etc)
